Charity of Choice Prostate Cancer Canada
September 14-18 is Prostate Cancer Awareness Week
Prostate Cancer Canada is the most common cancer to affect Canadien men. In fact, 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with the disease in their lifetime and this figure is expected to rise 1 in 4 within a decade.
We encourage men to speak to their doctors about a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing to evaluate their risk. Over 90% of prostate cancer cases are curable if detected and treated in their earliest stages, annual check ups and open discussions are key.
For more information about prostate cancer, visit us at prostatecancer.ca.
Prostate Cancer Canada is the only national foundation dedicated to the elimination of this disease, through research, education, support and awareness.
